Hi, my name is Mona Lisa, and while you know the famous painting by Leonardo da Vinci, I have taken this name for myself as a personal tribute to all forms of artistic expression. To me, effective verbal communication is by far the sincerest form of expression, as ultimately the canvas is to the painter, only we paint with words.

I am very proud to be a member of such an exclusive club as this talented group of voice over professionals, who like me, take their craft very seriously. I feel as if I'm among friends!
I look forward to a long, mutually rewarding association with CV, and Rick has already proven to me that he takes a sincere interest in my goals and accomplishments as a voice over artist.
Easily in the Mercedes class among voice over sites, CV has the respect of the industry and that means a lot. Rick's personal attentiveness and quick service has been a great asset to enhancing my marketing strategy.

In a nutshell, if CV has been good enough for Harlan Hogan for the past 7 years, it's good enough for me...and just to let Harlan know, I did invest in his DVD!

Blaine Parker here, also known in SAG as Blaine W. Parker Jr. Apparently, there’s a very talented Canadian musical stage actor who got to my name first. For years, I’ve done business with various voiceover websites. Some of them are quite good. But none of them have exhibited either the exclusivity or the proactive professionalism of Commercial Voices dot com. In my first month with Commercial Voices dot com, I’ve had more action than with any other site. And Rick is the single most impressive VO website proprietor it’s been my pleasure to meet across email. And he didn’t pay me very much at all to say this. (OK, Rick. How’s that? Ya know, instead of snail mailing me that check, you can just Pay Pal me, okay?)

Hi, I’m Chris Ackerman. I’ve been doing voiceover for waaay longer than I like to admit. I am either ON…or have TRIED almost all of the internet voice services. Rick Gordon has proven to me just how successful a business can be when its owner is actually more interested in helping its clients than in simply making a buck…or pound…or peso…or euro…or whatever. Rick really works at making certain that the talent listed with him gets hit and heard…and that voice seekers are legitimate and have credible jobs that pay the going rate. Commercial voices is simply a very solid service…whether you’re a voice talent OR a voice seeker.

Hi There, I’m Kelli Casey and since joining CommercialVoices also known as CV back in 2004 I have been fortunate enough to have made thousands of dollars through Rick. We even had one client who turned into a 2 year contract. Rick handled all the paperwork and the negotiations which was a huge relief for me because that is not my forte, voice acting is. So when you can find someone who has got your back it’s definitely a good thing. So if you’re looking to add another voice site to your marketing strategy I highly recommend Rick Gordon and CommercialVoices.

Hey there, this is Bill Jones with a word for CommercialVoices.com. I’m very happy to say that, as a talent, I’ve not only booked work directly from producers who’ve discovered me through the site, but also from auditions that have been submitted to clients who’ve used CommercialVoices.com for casting purposes. And I have to tell you that dealing with Rick has always been a pleasure. The man has always been extremely professional, incredibly prompt in all of his responses and emails, and a real ‘straight shooter’. And that’s a real pleasure in today’s world.

I’ve been with Rick Gordon & Commercial Voices for over 2 years and made more than my money back in the first year, but also developed a great relationship with Rick. I love his rate system. The rates are more than fare, but you are offered an option to be able to bid within a range and clients don’t know who’s who or how much…they pick the talent they want and you get the rate you requested. It’s a great system.

I get great work through Commercial voices and I look forward to many more opportunities and years ahead.

Thanks Rick & Commercial Voices – Happy 8th Anniversary

This is Liz Raphael Helgesen, a voice talent represented on Commercial Voices.com for the past 3 years. As a talent, I have to say that my relationship with Rick and Commercial Voices.com has been rewarding, reciprocal and so very easy. Working with Rick is great; he’s kind, responsive and a clear communicator. Rick also publishes a monthly newsletter filled with industry insight and tools of our craft that really help me succeed. Out of respect for the work Rick does and how he helps our industry, I now contribute to the Commercial Voices Newsletter –I present a business development feature to help all of us achieve our highest potential. Happy 8th anniversary, Rick!

Hi, this is Tony Craine. My platinum membership with CommercialVoices.com has been a solid career move. In my first year, I booked a job with Alcatel-Lucent, and that more than paid for my membership. And, you know, that Rick Gordon is not just a great guy, he’s also a real pro. He’s very accessible, and he’s given me great advice on how to run my voiceover business. It’s been a satisfying and profitable experience for me

I've been a member of Commercial Voices for a few years now, and I intend to stay one. There are many reasons why Commercial Voices is such a viable business system for voice talent, but the main reason is Rick Gordon himself. His auditions and job offerings are very clear, he's there for you if you have any questions or problems, but most importantly, he has a great sense of humor, and conducts his business with that in mind. It makes for a very comfortable professional environment. Thanks for everything, Rick

About 6 months ago I got a great job from Commercial Voices, which has more than paid for the membership. Then the same client asked me for advice on how to record and upload interviews to their Website. I asked Rick for advice, and he came up with a great solution. The result has been a very happy client, and a very happy me. Rick has always been extremely helpful whenever I’ve asked him for advice or help. This is one VO membership I’ll be renewing because of the personalized customer service. Thanks Rick, you’re the greatest!

Hi Rick,
I just wanted to drop you a WAV file, here, and say, "Hi!" and thanks alot. Man, I really appreciate CommercialVoices. It's working for me.
A couple of mornings ago, I logged on to my E-mail account and there was this E-mail that was actually waiting. It said, "Hi Charlie, I found you on CommercialVoices.com." Well, you know, I opened that first. And, the E-mail actually read, "I am interested in your availability and rates for 4 minutes of voiceover work on a project ..." and, it went on to say some other things.
Well, man, I immediately telephoned, rather than replied by E-mail. You know, I'm hungry. I need work.
And I actually booked the job. No audition, though, probably, the immediate telephone call and the conversation itself was the audition. And, I really enjoyed the gig. Especially since I got to work with a really good director. And, man, I've already been paid. It didn't even take 30 days. Like, probably about five or six.
Do you know how I found CommercialVoices? I found CommercialVoices after doing some ISDN research on the Internet. There was an excellent article, that is really accurate, written by Peter Turbiville. And, he had a link on his website to the CommercialVoices website. So, I know CV has some of the best talent in the business and I'm in good company, as far as I'm concerned. And, I think prospective clients know that, too. Maybe that's why my new client felt comfortable just sending me an E-mail.
So, if you ask me if I'm happy about my investment in CV, you know the answer. And, by the way, man, that monthly news letter is positive; it's really great.
And, some of those audio clips are absolutely hillariousm man! Well, anyway, I know I'm connected with some of the best in the business. I'm ready to work every day; and, I believe I'm in good company with other who feel the same way.
So, thanks alot, again, Rick. I really appreciate the personal counsel and suggestions that you've made.
And, it's made a difference.

"I'd only joined The CV.com team for a matter of weeks, when I got the first invitation from Rick to audition for a potentially major client. Happily my work was well received and I now have two satisfied French Canadian customers under my belt, Shell & Honda. That's already covered my first year's membership and then some, so I'm a very happy bunny. Keep 'em coming Rick!"

Thought I should drop you a note and let you know that as of yesterday, I have become one of three "Super-Saturday-Sale" spokesmen for Meijer Department stores. The store is a giant in the Midwest (Chicago, St. Louis etc.). It is a high profile, good paying gig. Exactly what I was looking for when I decided to join CV.com. With the help of your service, and your personal guidance and support, I have gone from being a local nobody 75 miles from Chicago, to being a "coast-to-coast" talent. From Fresno to Trenton, CV.com has no doubt played a major role in a "beyond my wildest dreams" kind of experience.....all in about 60 days!

Hi, this is Debbie Feldman. I’ve been doing voice work for almost 20 years now and the whole climate of this business has changed dramatically; mainly with the use of home computers and audio software. Living in South Florida, I used to drive to Miami, Ft. Lauderdale and West Palm Beach for auditions and studio work. Now, the Worldwide Web has afforded me the luxury or working out of my home studio. It’s difficult marketing yourself to the world. And there are so many websites looking for voice talents to join them. Since the moment I signed up with Rick and Commercial Voices, I feel like I have an agent that really goes to bat for me. Rick is a real human being – not just a businessman. I think he likes what he does……’cause he’s very good at it. And I love his sense of humor.

Cutting through the clutter. Its the difficult job every voice talent faces every day. For a voice talent to be successful, you need to get heard before you can get booked for a job. Thats where Commercial Voices comes in; Rick's tireless promotion of our voices helps you cut through the clutter so you can find us...and book us more easily!

Hey, Jeff Hoyt here. We home studio voiceover types are somewhat solitary creatures, so it's important that we choose carefully when we reach out into the cyber-ether to forge strategic partnerships. I don't just stick my voice demo on any old website that comes along promising a kerjillion hits a day. I went with Commercial Voices because when I e-mailed Rick a question about it, I heard back from him almost before I could lift my finger from the send button. I appreciate people who take pride in being responsive and that definitely describes Rick. I've been working on my own website for about two years. Rick built me a page on the Commercial Voices site in about two minutes. I get the feeling that my presence on the site is cared about and that right there sets Commercial Voices up on the top shelf all by its lonesome. And that's a very good place to be, I think.

I appreciate people who make my life easy, and Rick is one of those people. Hi, my name is Melinda Walsh and I’ve been a professional voiceover artist for 25 years. I signed up as a Platinum member because Rick knows how to promote professional talent and in my opinion, provides a much needed voice marketing service. Rick makes a point of providing timely support and has created a venue that enables pros to expand their voiceover business. I’m glad to be one of them. Thanks, Rick.

Hi, I'm Bob Green. When I heard about CommercialVoices.com and took a look and a listen, I knew someone had the right idea. Turned out to be Rick Gordon. As you know, voiceover used to be a "niche" occupation...actors, radio people and a few independents. Now it's about as unique as being a burger flipper at McDonald's. The web confirms it. Your favorite search engine yields tens of thousands of men, women..and others, who claim to be God's gift "to all your voiceover needs." That's why an attractive, user friendly site that's easy to navigate, where a producer can click through a manageable number of professionals is so valuable..to the producer and to the voice pros on the site. We may be enamored with the swell demo we've worked so hard on, but most producers regard listening to voice demos with an enthusiasm just a tad less than anticipating a root canal...they just want to find that SPECIAL him or her, QUICKLY. With the pros I've heard here so far, chances are awfully good that that's gonna happen. And that makes the pittance paid to set up our info & demos on CommercialVoices.vom a super deal.

My name is Ed Green. For over 30 years I have been a professional voice over artist and narrator. I have also created a voice over training course for novices and professionals alike, so they can learn the techniques and tricks of the trade that have helped make me so successful for many years.

Rick Gordon, provides a service that is one of the better services available today, for those who are trying to break into the voice over industry, and for those who are already established in the industry. I teach my students, that having an agent is a definite plus; however, they must also learn how to market themselves and rely upon their own resources to be successful.

That’s where Rick Gordon comes in. Rick provides you with the kind of quality service that helps and enables you to market yourself by being a part of his select voice over data base. Once you become a member of Rick’s “platinum service”, your voice will be exposed and heard by many potential clients throughout the country. Exposure equals potential. And that's what it's all about.

I recommend it to all my students and to all the Pros out there who want more exposure, and the chance to challenge themselves in a very competitive industry.

Thanks Rick. Great Job!

This is Kim Crow and I'm an ISDN Pro-Voiceover talent with Commerical Voices. You are really going to enjoy working with Rick Gordon. And isn't that what our business is all about? Thanks, Rick

CommercialVoices.com is a quality and highly focused talent address on the web. My association with them as a Founding Member is one that I'm very happy with. Commercial Voices.com looks and sounds really good, but what sets it apart is the fact that CV actually works! Finished several narrations this morning for a new-media firm based in Virginia who "discovered" me through CV. Since I'm based in Chicago the odds of our finding each other were slim, except for the power of the Internet and the ceaseless promotion of Commercial Voices by it's founder, Rick Gordon. Bottom-line, this is a voice-over site that more than pays for itself!"

"Working with Rick is a pleasure. I was barely signed up when he got me a job which more than paid for my membership. In fact he had the job for me before I signed up for the membership. He is a true Pro, a delight to deal with, he's funny, enthusiastic and very smart about his business. He's also innovative, bridging creativity with technology, delivering voice-over production seamlessly. I am happy to be associated with Rick Gordon.

"As Voice Talent we get email solicitations everyday from someone wanting to set up a web site to promote Voice Talent. Truth is... ANY bozo can put up a web site now days and promise practically anything! Many of'em "look" really good too. But, the "real" job isn't just taking the money and putting up the web site and publishing it alone. It's a working knowlege of the business that only time and experience can provide. It's keeping up with industry trends and technical advances to get AND stay "up front". It's knowing what will survive the test of time and what's a fad. After more than 30 years in the business I know... it's knowing your clients... it's the follow up... it's making it work and delivering "as advertised". Rick and Commercial Voices has done it. He's marketing all the time, staying in touch with every aspect of our business and working hard to deliver. For my money... those are the elements that make CV a winning proposition and a sure bet."

"Hi, Jerry McClellan here. It's a pleasure to be a part of CommercialVoices.com and to work with founder and fellow voicer, Rick Gordon. I found CommercialVoices.com to be a terrific resource showcasing world-class voice talent . . . And did I mention Rick Gordon. . ? Right from the beginning of the signing up process, Rick delivered exactly what he promised . . . and more! I'm especially impressed with Rick's attention to creativity and detail plus quick service-he had me up and running in less than a day! I came away with not only a great listing on a great site, but a great friend as well. All through the process, I was impressed with Rick's passion for this business, and a sense of genuine care and interest in promoting fellow voicers. If you're considering putting your talent out there, let me encourage you to join the rest of us who are more than happy to be associated with Rick Gordon, and CommercialVoices.com."

"Anyone who is seriously working at voiceovers must be present wherever buyers can find them. CommercialVoices.com is quickly becoming a pre-eminent stopping place for thousands of people a month, and it's well worth being here. It's a 100% guarantee of unemployment if you aren't on this site."

"If anyone is wondering how CommercialVoices.com compares to an ad in a trade magazine, for both talent and producers, just look at the cost for one ad; lines of print and the word count, and what you see is all you get to go on. Now compare that with the site's advantages of a full year for less cost than a modest print ad, being able to link demos, frequent updates, and best of all, exposure to a huge number of producers. What comparison? Is it any wonder I've been a member since day 1?"

   Jim Perkins

"Commercialvoices.com has proven to be worth every penny of my subscription fee. I've never asked anyone to 'get me work', because that's my job. However, when I pay to list on a website I expect to be seen. Rick Gordon obviously works hard to market us, which is apparent in the increased number of auditions and website hits."

   Troy Duran
www.TroyDuran.com

"It was with some trepidation that I opted to pay to join a voice listing site having listed on at least a hundred "free" sites around the world. However, having paid (effortlessly - on line) I found Rick very responsive to initial setup, and he supplied valuable tips to optimize my listing. Within a month, my initial investment was repaid a few times over with exactly the type of work I was hoping to get from his site: a high quality gig with good dollars. Tracking referrers to my web site, I find Commercial Voices to be consistently in my top 12 referrers of prospective clients to my web site. Not bad when CV is competing against Google, Alta Vista, MSN and the like! Not only did they visit - they stayed awhile - indicating to me that these were more than tire kickers. I appreciate that Rick works his heart out to market this site and to continue to improve it by luring top rung talent to accompany us on the roster. I think Rick's got the right web model, the right business model, and I think it could be the beginning of a beautiful...ah you know the rest."

Paul Boucher
www.TheRightVoice.com

"Even though Rick is busily building a vast network of voiceover professionals, he takes the time to correspond with prospective members and members alike to answer any questions we may have. With the multitude of "pay sites" out there, that personal attention, and Rick's attitude was really why I joined. I'm glad I did; I've already received an email from a prospective client who specifically told me he saw me on Commercial Voices.com."

"I've been online with my demos since about 1996 -- and I've watched the development of the Internet as a solid tool for both talent and producers. Commercial Voices is a bold step forward in this complex matchmaking process. I’m actually thrilled to be included as one of the Platinum Members of this site. Commercial Voices also has a great method for showcasing auditions -- after we record some of your words, Rick groups them all together on a special web page, waves a magic wand over them so they play back really fast and you sit there and click back and forth between all the voices who auditioned -- right there on the net -- it’s another wonderful tool for producers."

Even though I live in proximity to Los Angeles, one of the main voice-over markets in the world, I find more and more of my work coming from the internet, specifically, listings with top notch voice bank services. Commercial Voices.com is extremely professional, and gives me the kind of international exposure I desire. Their website is terrific, and the caliber of talent is extraordinary. I'm very pleased with the company I keep among the Platinum members. It's a great place to be!
