Purina chose my warm & friendly
read for a voiceover for a national TV spot promoting their new Little Bites
Indoor Complete product introduction. This has developed into a three-year
relationship and an expansion of my product categories into Puppy Chow and
Dog Chow.
My DISH Network radio campaign
shows off a touch of an attitude, while my four-year campaign for AAA Washington
is conversational, confident and a bit understated. At times I get requests
for my Joe Peschi or Alec Baldwin approaches. I do many character voices and
a few dialects as well.
For 13 years I was one of the voices
for Piglet for the Walt Disney Company. I did feature animation, videos, toy
voices, and theme park projects – many of which involved singing. My
animation credits also include three
series for Hanna Barbera. I also do Anime. My series, Planetes, was recently
released on DVD. My descriptive audio narrations (for the blind and visually
impaired) have aired frequently on CBS. And if
you visit the Hotel Sax, in Chicago, and want to know what’s available
to you as a hotel guest, just pick up the phone and my guest orientation message
will give you all of your options.
I have an ISDN equipped home studio.
As the voice of Piglet for Disney, many of the projects I recorded involved
singing.
Regarding music production. My son, Dan Schatzberg, is composer
and is currently producing music cues for Entertainment Tonight, Rachael
Ray, and Dr. Phil. The documentary he scored is
about to be
released. His website is: www.danschatzberg.com.
