UK based Peter Baker has over 30 years of experience in recording voiceovers as well as on-air broadcasting for BBC and commercial TV and radio stations. The voice of thousands of commercials as well as training films and corporate videos, Peter is the safe, reliable choice where an authoritative, clear but friendly voice is required to impart important information.
Peter Baker has his own broadcast quality studio with top of the range Neumann U87 microphones and full digital editing, and offers fast turnarounds on recording projects. His service also includes fast editing and optimisation of the audio files using professional Adobe Audition software.
Peter can be directed on the script you provide or via Skype if required with the master recording being done at his studio. Files can then be sent via an internet file transfer service. This gives better technical quality and is more reliable than using ISDN lines; although Peter has access to ISDN or Music Taxi if needed.
For most projects, the client has total rights over the recording with no future royalties or repeat fees at all.
As well as being a very experienced audio editor and producer (he was in charge of a regional radio station’s commercial production department for 6 years), Peter is also skilled at video editing; useful if a project involves his voiceover needing to be mixed and adding to existing slides or video footage.
On Peter's demo page you will find extract montages of projects other clients commissioned from Peter Baker. He is always willing to demo an excerpt of your actual script at no cost or obligation if you send it to him.
