Hi there!
Forgive the unsolicited intrusion on your busy day, but having tracked
you down on the web, I couldn't resist the temptation of email.
What I'd like to ask is what's the best way of making myself and my
ability known to you?
I'm a female voice-over artist. "Oh no!" you cry, "Not another
one!" I'm
sure you *are* deluged with the likes of me, but in my defence I’d like
to say that I’m really quite good at this now and am a professional who
can deliver without fuss. I've been in the voice business for about 15
years and have a history of credits ranging from national TV and radio
ads, radio plays, documentaries, corporate and training videos,
call-centres and cd-roms and am able to offer a wide range of styles,
accents, characters and experience. Although a lot of the work I've done
latterly is within the commercial world, my heart is also in the longer
read: telling stories, video narration and doing silly voices.
I've worked in most of the major studios in London but have arrived at a
point in my life where I've bitten the bullet and now have my own studio
with ISDN capability, which means that not only am I available on the
hoof for live recording, but can also turn round client demos very
quickly via email and ftp. Of course, I still spend time in external
studios when voicing to picture, but it does mean that I get to play
with vocal sounds in a professional environment well in advance of any
recording.
My web-site is at: www.sarahparnell.com where you can get a taste of my
ability and repertoire, though it's by no means definitive and rather
more commercial than corporate or cartoon. I have an elastic voice, am
able to parody, and can deliver most straight and character reads to
order. From honey to hag in one smooth move!
Do let me know how best to approach you, and what sort of demo you might
like to listen to.....
Many thanks,
SarahP
