We think it's about time the Kids
had an opportunity to shine in the VO industry and so CV is introducing CV's
Kids. We areinviting all Platinum Members to send us demos from their children
aged 3-16 along with nieces and nephews for free exposure on CV. Nice idea?
We have added a CV’s Kids section to our VO services and wish it success. This is in its initial stages of implementation and of course much caution has to be applied to keep it safe yet entertaining and effective. Here are the plans so far:
CV's Kids
1. The CV Kids age limitations would be 3-16 years of age.
2. Hosting would be free to kids, including nieces and nephews,
for the remaining membership period of the parent or guardian who is a CV Platinum
member. Free membership would be limited to one child per Platinum
Member. Additional child talents would be based on 50% of the $50 annual fee
but would be pro-rated for the remaining months of the adult member. E.G. if
your remaining membership is 6 months then your second and additional child
talents would be charged $50/50=$25.00 each
3. Kids who wish to join CV’s Kids but do not have a parent or
guardian as a current member would be charged $100 USD for a one year
membership.
4 . Kids demos of up to 5MB would be hosted by CV or linked
from the parents or guardian’s website.
5 . It is understood that children go through voice changes quickly so we will
request that demos be frequently updated.
Protecting the Kids
1. All correspondence between clients
and kids have to go through a guardian or parent. Clients
and producers will not be permitted to contact the child talent directly.
2. Contact information would be limited to an email address.
3. The child’s full name may or may not be used, just
the first name along with the demo would be preferred but it is your choice.
Pictures are a no-no.
4. Interested visitors will be required to fill in a form identifying
their purpose for accessing CV’s Kids site.
5. CV’s Kids page would be password protected allowing
only serious clients and producers to gain access. The password would be randomly
changed.
Once we have our Kids pages created and the various protection aspects in place we will be contacting all CV Platinum Members with an invitation to submit their child's information and demo. Your comments and suggestions are more than welcome. Please feel free to contact me at your convenience.
